Hello, I'm growing long hair for the 2nd time and I noticed that I have a small amount of dandruff. It's not even enough to fall on my shirt, but should I do something about it?
Also, what is the best amount of biotin to take for double hair growth?
Thanks,
Tweek
Where can you get it?
You can get it at pharmacies or GNC. GNC has something called "Hair Nourish for Men" with about 2,000 mcg in each pill, and that's a lot of biotin. I was asking about how many mcg will double growth because I have a supplement with 200 mcg and that's obviously not enough.
The dandruff's gone... I must have been imagining it, never mind.
1200 is minimum, methinks...

Biotin has been shown to increase hair growth significantly, but it should be used with caution even though it is water-soluble. It has been shown that large doses of biotin can decrease blood sugar levels, therefore, diabetics should not use it.
and it does spur hair growth. Mine now grows 1.5" per month on with 5000 mcg (5 mg) of biotin per day.
