I took these pics yesterday w/ a camera phone. I'm not sure how long I've been growing it, but I just got to the point where I can tuck my bangs gehind my ears! The longer it gets, the more I love it! Unfortunately, my wife hates it more than ever, but she lets me continue and I hope it "grows" on her. ;)

Those are good pictures and congratulations on reaching this point. It seems to me that if your wife really hated your hair, you would hear more derogations from her than you do about it. Maybe she secretly likes it and is too stubborn to admit it!
Be sure to keep it growing!
She is Irish, and those celts can be stubborn! But yesterday, she looked at me in the afternoon and said, "I really hate your hair." Then in the evening, she said, "You really are cute!" You've seen the pictures. I think she needs to have her eyeglass presciption checked!
DO keep on growing it. It looks marvelously thick and the subtle wave and v-shape at the bottom are awesome.

Congratulation on your milestone! My wife hated my long hair and in the beginning said almost anything to discourage me. I just hung in there steadfast and she soon accepted the fact that this is my head and I have a right to choose my own hair style. She still drops hints (something about Bon Jovi hair), but I just gaze off into space and she gets the idea.

I think I remember you posting about complaints of your wife many months ago, and now I'm glad to see that you are on your way anyways, and that she's coming to terms with it. Since you are already doing things to make her feel good, I think she'll grow to accept it, and, perhaps, she IS already developing a special kind of liking for your hair and/or your persistence. Stubborn people probably are able to appreciate and to relate to steadfastness in others, given enough time.
