hi folks,
just wondering...who else here has a side part besides moi and DavidN ?
I've been parting my hair on the side for the last 2-3 weeks or so...I think I look way better with a side part.
when I had a centre part, the left was slighly thicker than the right...and it didn't look right. It still is somewhat assymetrical(slightly thicker on the right now),but at least I can now say it's asymettrical due to the side part!!
I think centre parts look better for those with symetrical hair...what do you guys think?? :))
I had tried the side part but did not think it looked good on me, I had to do it because of starting to loose my hair due to the medications I had to take for Hep C.
But after finishing he meds, it started growing back so I switched back to the center part.
It was weird cuz the new hairs were pushing my old hair up from the bottom and I looked like I had an old fashioned bouffant style for a few months. LOL
But no, I didn't like the side part on myself, but it does help on covering thinning spots. Like with Donald Trump.. :)
My hair is slightly thicker on the left than right, but I still part it in the middle because it looks symmetrical even though it is not technically. I used to part it on the right for about the first year or more that I first began growing it. It might better to me to part mine on the left, but it would be a lot of trouble to do that. HAHA!
I'm actually gonna go that tomorrow
its good to do something different every now and then
I don't know about that, but I think a side part works better for me.

I have been favouring a slight bit of side-parting - for the front of my hair, at least, to get it off my face.

Hi Jacob,
I didn't realize I had a reputation as the one of the few side parters LOL! Mainly, mine is because the tendency for my hair is to part naturally on the left, and, like yours, is thicker on the left than the right. I had actually considered trying a centre part(as practically all longhairs do) , but another post by Scooper (Bruce) who also has a side part, indicated the centre part tends to show thinning hair worse than a side one. I would be interested in seeing your side part pictures!
David
I meant to say "center", NOT "centre"!!I'm American!! :P
I noticed that LOL! I actually thought you might have Canadian/British background, but I know you have more of a Greek heritage. Naturally I spell it centre, as I'm Canadian.
