Hey, it's me, back with some pics and an update. Things have been going well with my hair. It's growing ever longer, and probably healthier as well.
I recently went through a phase where I felty obsessed over washing my hair. I don't know why, I just felt very self-conscious when I hadn't washed my hair for a day (something I've been doing for years, even when it was much shorter). I felt as if everyone would notice, and got anxious. This was really unusual, and I found myself washing every day sometimes. My hair started to noticably dry out, but I got over it eventually and it's back to normal. I also noticed that my hair gets wavier as it gets healthier - it's not much of a wave, but its there. Kind of ironic, back during the awkward phase I HATED when my hair curled even a little, and now I love it!
I've been getting a real lot of compliments recently, it's kind of surprising. I've had men and women alike complimenting on my hair, touching it, playing with it, asking what conditoner I use, etc. Must...resist...urge...to...grow...ego! About the only bad thing for the past few months was having people at college ask me where I can buy weed.
I've been trying to get around here more often, but due to college work and a lack of free internet time, I haven't been posting. I've also just turned 18, so I've been busy celebrating that!

Your hair is looking great =) And you're right about the waves thing... With my hair, I can notice that when it is wavier, it means it is happier =P I guess this is because our hair is naturally wavy, so we have to take it like that and don't fight against our waes, such as... not brushing =P loool
I just guess.... for how long have you been growing your hair??

Thanks everyone! I love the goatee as well, that's been growing for 6 months. My hair has been growing about 3 years - I'm not sure of the last time I had a haircut, nor when exactly I decided to grow my hair out. I'm not done yet either - I'm gonna keep growing for the forseeable future.
