Hello,
What you think of my hair, this is a 2005 picture, sorry doesn't have a recent, decent one, but now they are shorter, till soulder, cause have cut them november 2005, have have gone through several trims in 2006. If i get a new one sure i'll post it.
Do you think it is good??
Where are the flowers? :o)
Here! (Haight Ashbury Street Fair 2004)
Bill,
I have always noticed that Larry has excellent, thick hair. It's a pity he's not into growing it. Do you think he'd ever change his mind?
Jason
Nope. What a waste. [grin]
But it's his hair, and his decision.
When I first met him in 1976 he had it at shoulder length. That's the longest I've seen it.
Bill
Boy are we dating outselves! All these young guys are saying "what the hell is he talking about".
I knew somebody would pick up on it.

Wonderful picture! Really broadens the definition of "flower children" though, doesn't it!
Bill, that is a GREAT picture!
the sunlight, the smiling, the bubbles..
The bandana is great, I love the curls to your hair, and, as a fan of wild edible mushrooms, it is also nice to see some Aminita muscaria on your shirt.
(For the record, though, I'd recommend against eating that type: While the European variety has been said to offer some mild hallucinogenic properties (a deterrent for me all by itself, anyway), the American variety is reported in David Aurora's "Mushrooms Demystified" to simply cause nausea and stomach cramping with the unpleasant (though expedient) exit of offending the mushrooms in the usual manner.
Just a fabulous pic!
Shawn
Hey Shawn,
Cool you like the pic! Also to know the name of the mushrooms. I just got the shirt because of its awesome artwork, although I've always figured they'd get you high since I got the shirt on Haight Street. [grin]
The shop I got the shirt at (pictured above) has an incredible selection of great T-shirts by the way - lots of them featuring longhaired rock stars. It's on the NW corner of Haight and Ashbury streets, and definitely worth checking out by any longhair in the area.
Bill
I wish I could come to San Franscisco... too bad I am hopelessly stuck in Taiwan with no longhair in sight, gay or straight...
The hair looks great! Keep it up. I will be in Sf for work in march, its a great city! Hope it doesn't rain LOL take care!
The hair looks great dude. By the way , Is that a doobie i see on your left hand.... lol

I thin some of the 60's crowd are thinking of this song by Scott Mckenzie.
If you're going to San Francisco
Be sure to wear some flowers in your hair
If you're going to San Francisco
You're gonna meet some gentle people there
For those who come to San Francisco
Summertime will be a love-in there
In the streets of San Francisco
Gentle people with flowers in their hair
All across the nation such a strange vibration
People in motion
There's a whole generation with a new explanation
People in motion people in motion
For those who come to San Francisco
Be sure to wear some flowers in your hair
If you come to San Francisco
Summertime will be a love-in there
If you come to San Francisco
Summertime will be a love-in there
It's still frequently heard on the radio, so I'd bet most have heard it. The song became a classic.
Scott hasn't had much in the way of hits since, although he's still around. I recall seeing him a year or so ago on the local public TV station. It was a program with lots of old sixties rock stars performing their hits of yesteryear, interspersed with long and very obnoxious pledge breaks. Most of the stars no longer had their hair, but as I recall, Scott had a long straight graying mane.
Bill
I think your hair is VERY good, and I do hope you grow it really long, I would just skip the trims, it looks in A-one condition! How long do you hope to grow it?
All the best,
David
Hello David,
1st Thanks for your comments, Actually my hair is long again, but not as in the pic above, it is just shoulder length. I will grow it till my middle back, just want it to be like Brad Pitt hair in "Interview With A Vampire".
Hi Jack,
I haven't seen you with shorter hair, but I'd say, you look phantastic with the 2005 length, and if that felt good, just book your 2006 experiments as a learning experience and grow your hair to terminal length.
SF is cool!
