Anybody here use shower caps when they sleep or when they shower on non-shampoo days?
just curious and wondering if they are useful?

I use a shower cap every morning when I shower. I only wash my hair once a week, so the shower cap def keeps my hair dry. Dont use one when I sleep, not sure what the purpose of that would be unless you plan on getting your head wet in bed, LOL
I would think that shower caps would be a bit uncomfortable, being completely unbreathable and all. Think back to road trips as a kid, falling asleep on vinyl car seats to wake up stuck to them with the stitching pattern moulded into your face fora about 40 minutes...
I recommend against it. (but invite you to use a bandanna or do-wrap...heck, when I really want to prevent any rubbing around of my hair while sleeping, I'll wear two bandans: one tied in front (like Aunt Jemima) which gathers up the hair from my neckand pulls/pushes it forward and up, the second is put on normally and gathers any of the hair sticking out from the first bandanna. If tied tightly, it stays put all night and it allows my head and hair to breathe.

One advantage would be deep conditioning/oiling your hair overnight without getting any on your pillow. :)
I've used one anytime I need to shower without washing my hair and it's been quite handy. Getting all the hair up under it can be a nuisance, but that's what I get for growing so much of it, LOL.
