I was just doing some experimenting with photos, as I often do, and took some photos at about 1cm away from the hair, also zoomed in 1.9x, so it's pretty closeup. One is a 720p video, so it may not play back smoothly for everyone, and the other is a photo. I like seeing the detail in the image, but it really brings out the flaws too, such as split ends and stuff. My hair doesn't really look like this from a normal perspective. :)
I use rapidshare.com.
The folder is: http://rapidshare.com/users/Z8J184
I get confused by their system a lot, so if they don't come through, let me know and I'll try to figure it out.
I'm not a member; it seems rather laborious to use; takes quite a while and you have to download files to your computer. I never opened the files.
You have to press Free and then wait half a minute.
Yes, I apologize about having files which are a little more complex to download. I wish I could just have direct links, but I don't know of any other place where I could share huge amounts of files easily with no hassle. All of the free places, which wouldn't make you do something to download, seem to offer low quality video playback or low data limits, in traffic and/or storage.
I never had too much of a problem getting the files to download when I wasn't a member and had to wait. The problem is in manipulating directories and uploaded files.
The files aren't spectacular, just interesting hair shootings I would have loved to see had someone else posted. I'm very interested in macro photography, because it lets you see part of something you have never seen before, and I posted here because that thing in this case is hair. (Although not specifically in relation to the length of hair on men, I figured it was sort of on topic.) Extremely slow motion photography also lets you see new parts of things(which, unfortunately, I do not have the equipment to shoot).
Good luck to anyone else downloading, and sorry again about the inconveinience. :)
Well done Paddy! I got though all the hoops (I'm just am a patient guy). I've always been fasinated by macro photography and slow mo filming. You can probably find some old film motion picture cameras online and I think you can find b/w 16mm film still. Maybe even someother formats.

Hi Patrick,
I was able to see the picture - yes, the hairs with split ends stick out, but it's not too bad at all! Tons of good hairs and, here and there, the odd hair with split ends.
If you do want some advice: I'd use this clear oily fluid consisting of dimethicone and cyclomethicone and almost nothing else - it's marketed under different names, eg "anti-frizz gel", or "hair repair fluid".
I also saw your other albums - your hair is great, Patrick!
All the best!
