Hey Tai Fu, I was just wondering about your computer.
Did you find the reason that it was slowing down?
I dont know, I scanned with a spyware scanner, found a bunch of thing (seems as if its normal) and didnt really notice much at all. Maybe its just in my mind...?
Besides Ad-aware, you should try a registry cleaner. I always use two of any spyware or registry cleaning software. One seems to catch what the other missed. You'd be surprised, maybe, how much crap gets left on your system when you install or remove s/w. Good luck.

You might try defragmenting your hard drive, if that is possible. If it is possible to defragment your hard drive then that might really speed things up. Over time files get fragmented and it takes your computer time to piece them together, thus slowing things down. Oh well, I'm far from being a computer expert, but it does help mine a lot. I have a lot of stuff on my computer and it takes me a while to defragment. I usually do it while I'm sleeping.
Good idea...
Also see how many programs run at startup- I'm betting there are a few that you don't use often enough to merit constantly running them. You can set for only necessary applications to launch when you boot up and have the option to run others from the quick launch bar.
I do a disk clean-up every couple days, and a defrag about once a week. It takes no time at all if you do it often enough.
