Hey! I just took this pic recently and i would like to have it as my new avatar, how do i go about that?

Hi Simon,
you do look cool on your new avatar! Seeing the "dyeing" problem, I'd say, it could be MUCH worse - it REALLY doesn't look bad at all. With a bit of luck, some of the color will still fade over time if you just leave it alone, and you could go swimming from time to time if you enjoy doing that (taking advantage of the mild bleaching properties of chlorine), just make sure you use some conditioner afterwards.
If this were not you, but me, I'd do nothing about the color - just let it grow.
