hi i have my hair blonde for a nubmer of years ,but iam hiting mr.51 in may and i dont know if i shoudle go draker or keep the blonde iam fair skin , hair on me.
Hi to another David!
I think the hair looks fabulous as it is, you have a mane to be proud of. As long as you are not using dye that could damage your hair, I would say to keep it blonde!
Keep it growing,
David
The blonde hair itself would be/is ok, but it all honesty, the contrast with the really dark beard does reinforce the impression that the blonde is "artificial." One option would be eliminating the facial hair, but the contrast between the two elements is not particularly appealing.
I agree that the contrast is odd, but that's only my small opinion. It is entirely your decision and you should do what you want without worrying about other people. I also think it's cool what you've got going on if those are your natural colors. :)
I am the opposite: my hair is brownish with reddish and lighter brown, but
my hint of a mustache is entirely blond/white and does not match up with the hair on my head. So if I let my
mustache grow people would assume that I dye my hair which I do not.
Hi David,
Since your hair is still in good shape after all that bleaching, it must be very resilient. It really depends upon what you want. If you want to return to your natural color, I suppose, you could just let the natural color appear by holding off bleaching for two months, then use a dye that is a bit brighter than your natural color on one or two occasions, and finally stop the bleaching/dyeing altogether.
Age is no reason to stop - just go by what look you really like.
Having said that, bleaching agents are aggressive and have the potential to dry your hair out more and more and to make it breakage-prone.
Wishing you all the best,
Hans-Uwe
Well, first off I would tidy up your kitchen, and when you have finished that (maybe one week later), you should know which route to go :0)
I say the dark beard would suit darker hair better, and your hair is superb.
Hi to both Nuttidave and Dave who originally posted this thread!
As a former bachelor slob myself (and believe me, at times my apartment has looked FAR worse than all the clutter in the background of Dave's pic), I agree with Nuttidave's comment that a tidier environment actually does help make clearer decisions, --- even if the decisions are on a totally different topic!
Dave, you hair has amazing length and looks very full as well. I've never dyed my own hair; but based on many, many comments from all sorts of people I've known over the years (as well as posts here from people), it is my understanding that the texture and strength of one's hair is often put under a lot of stress whenever it is bleached like that. For that reason alone, I'd personally recommend trying to go back to the color that Mother Nature originally gave you. I realize that would imly having to dye it back to as close an artificial color as you can find in the stores; but over time, it may be worth it.
In either case, you have a FANTASTIC head of hair! Interestingly, my hair and beard are the exact opposite from you: my beard is totally white now, whereas my hair still has a lot of its original blonde left), --- so two-toned can happen just as much in Nature as in Clairol (lol)!!
Now, back to the topic of house-keeping habits...
I can't even take credit for any "self-improvement" with my own habits, because I now am no longer single, --- and it's my partner that is the "neat-nic" in this new relationship (lol)!! But, now that I realize how much I thoroughly ENJOY a clean and uncluttered house (and even help try to keep it that way, now that I know how wonderful it feels)... it's hard for me not to instantly spot another fellow bachelor-slob when I see a pic of it (lol)!! Hope you don't mind me mentioning this, and even teasing a little; but, truly, it was hard NOT to notice this in the picture you sent in of yourself!

Try red, do the beard too. Would look awesome.
Or not :)
Follow your heart! I think the blond looks great, but the only opinion that really counts is yours.
Take care,
Bruce
If you will accept a teenagers point of view, I say it's awesome. AWESOME, why change ?
Peace
