You know, if I lived in Rhode Island, I would actually consider voting for him. I read through the party platform and was nodding my head pretty much the entire time. Never could understand why some states even have a lieutenant governor, as many function perfectly fine without them and substitute the secretary of state for that role.
Oh well... anyway, back to long hair. =)
As someone who lives in a state where the Lt. Governor ran for
Congress and left the office vacant for two years, the state
can survive without a Lt. Governor. (John Kerry was Lt. Governor,
he left the office vacant for two years.)
This guy in Rhode Island did not win, apparently he never made it
past March 2006 (the primary?)
A woman now holds the office.
