Heya all!
My hair is growing with the speed of light, well almost at least, and I´m wondering when to start using conditioner? The longest part of my hair is 8 cms (~3 inches) atm, and the rest is at 4-5 cms (2 inches).
Also I wonder, how often should I use it? Currently I´m washing my hair every third day.
Sorry I can't be of help advising you or anything, But I wanted to know how fast your hair is growing(inch/month) =] ?
Peace
Leito
he said speed of light so im guessing lightyears
light speed would be about 3.102*10^17 in/mo.. which is ~620 quadrillion times faster than mine. pretty impressive lol
Which means he has to get trims like a million times a second to keep it at waist length lol.
I actually carry an automatic cuter around my waist. I always leave a trail of hair wherever I go. Which is good if I get lost in the forest.
I´ve measured it several times and I´ve concluded that it grows about 2 cms (1 inch is 2.5 cms) a month. :)
Hi Erik,
Normally I would suggest using conditioner every time you wash, and possibly even on the days that you don't shampoo, I would do a "conditioner only" wash. I could not get away without using conditioner, as my hair would be far too dry without it, and would be more tangly. However, I know that some guys who have very oily hair, and straight hair not subject to tangles could get away without using conditioner.
Hope this helps,
David
when my hair was a bit shorter I could get away without conditioners but I find that I need it more and more as my hair got longer. Most the time I dont condition near the scalp because they tend to get very oily. So I just do it near the end where they tend to tangle more. My hair seems to have developed a slight wavieness but I dont know if it has more to do with using alice bands and stuff which tends to make hair curly...
Ah, so the conditioner helps with dry hair? Maybe I should give it a try then.
I'd tend to agree with David. Most people can't get too far without conditioning after shampooing, however, there are exceptions to the rule (a friend of mine shampoos daily, never conditions, and has mid-back hair).
I would suggest trying some out to see how it affects your hair. Maybe it will help, maybe you'll dislike the result, maybe you won't even notice.

It's great that youre noticing improvements in length, it's really reincouraging!:D. You can start using conditioner whenever you want. as for how often you should use it, experiment and see what you think looks and feels the best!
good luck and keep it growing!

Whether short or long, conditioner helps to smooth, soothe and moisturize your hair.
