Nice collection of drums - and great looking shots of your mane!
Thanks for sharing this,
- Oren
Thanks.Getting the mane and the drums took awhile.I didn't care for your beard at first but it looks really good now.If I could grow a beard like yours I would. It's not in the genes. You'd make an awesome Viking at a ren faire.Your mane is looking great too.

Nice Djembes (that's what they're called, right?) and nice hair :-) By the way, what's that long thing on the table?
Yeah, they're djembes. The two drums on the table are doumbeks. The long thing is a didgerido or didge. It's a cheap plastic one.I've had it about six months. There's a breathing technic I haven't mastered yet but the sound it makes is awesome.Picked it up this morning and couldn't get a sound out of it.Went to take this pic and it sang for me.
Your hair is nice too.I happen to like curly hair which is good since mine is :-)

chris adler from lamb of god
I didn't take up drumming till about four years ago much to my regret.I took guitar lessons when I was a kid and played a sax in the school band but was never really happy with either.Always thought about drumming.Never played a drum kit.Started hanging around pagan drum circles where djembes and doumbecs are common.I've been in drum circles that had 500 drums of all types.I swear the ground shakes.

chris adler is probably one of the best metal drummers
good drummer, met him in toronto. cool guy too. check out Sean Reinert (he used to play in Death, one of the most influential death metal bands and my favorite) he's an amazing drummer.

Facinating !
It really adds to the "Family atmosphere" of our MLHH community when folks share a little slice of their life. The combined musical talent of our members is truly impressive !!
Thanks

That's really cool. I used to play drums in high school, and picked up a doumbek a while back, but haven't accomplished much with it yet.
Jim
nice drums you got there.
I like making noise with drums too.
here is a pic' of some that I have.
not in the pic' is a Djembe and tom that I
also have
You too have some nice drums.I'd like to get an ashiko and maybe some congas. Also a big thumper like an American Indian spirit drum.I've got another djembe and two ceramic doumbecs not in my pics.I'm building a stand using a base from a rotating store display to put my drums on.
And the beat goes on,
Arrick
sounds like a neat idea using an old store display for your drums.
yes having a big thumper is nice,I found mine in an
antique store for a reasonable price it was a high school
marching drum.
it is 32 inches around and it does make a nice loud
thump too.
also got this one off of e-bay,it is a defernt type that
I have not seen before and it does have a nice sound too.
the person I got it from called it a tim-tom
