Hey guys, whats up? I know most of the goals around here have to do with hair, but I have a new goal I've set for myself. By March 24th, I am determined to lose 26 lbs. and be able to run five miles straight. It's a hell of a goal, but I know that I can do it; I've done it before. A couple of years ago, I lost about 65 lbs. within about three or four months with nothing but exercise and good eating. Since then, I've gained a bit of my weight back, but I am determined to lose it again. My roommate and I are going to participate in an "Adventure Race," which consists of running, cycling, rowing, and climbing, so on top of building my endurance, I'm going to have to build strength too. The race is on March 24th, almost exactly two months from now, so it makes for a perfect way to set a goal. I just thought I'd share that with you all :). I'm pretty determined to do it, so wish me luck!
Hey man, that sounds like a good goal. I wish I could get motivated to do some kind of exercising. I'm rather scrawny so, if I did, it would only be to build muscle and strength. It's kind of crazy that at one time ,about 3 years ago, I was 150 pounds and could benchpress 220 pounds. I was really into lifting weights for a few years, and I had built up some decently cut muscles. These days I am about 165 and weak as a pup lol Maybe hearing about your fitness progress will motivate me =) Good luck and keep us posted on the weight loss dude.

Good luck, bro! You'll be better off physically AND mentally with any amount of exercise. I tried running four years ago and found it was terror on my knees. I took up bicycling and haven't regretted it one bit! I'm looking to lose some pounds myself that I've gained over these lazy cold months. My goal for this year is my first century (100 mile) ride. Take it easy, literally, for the first couple of weeks and let us know how you're getting along. Good luck again. Cheers!

I know this might sound stupid, but try doing Judo. Instead of exercising to lose weight. Which could get very stressful, you will be exercising for other stuff. Trust me, Judo has changed many peoples lifes.
You probably won't understand until you try it.
