I'm a little concerned that my hair is thinning out, i took a pic from the front, i have alot of wispy hairs above my forehead but hopefully it will grow back thicker there, what you do you think?
Is it thinning or do i have nothing to worry about?
Also, i almost forgot to mention that my skin often gets pretty dry at that place and starts flaking after i've shampooed, but now i've started to use a shampoo for a dry scalp and i hope it gets better
I don't know how to post several pics at once so i just post them after one after one.
Hi there, Simon,
It is normal that hair in front tends to grow a little slower than back or side hair. The hairs in front may be a little fine in your case, but I know that your overall hair type is naturally fine, so there may be no problem. The best thing to do is to have a professional evaluation from a dermatologist. The best thing about seeking professional advice is that treatment (if necessary) is started at an early age, and if there is indeed no problem, your mind would be put at ease.
To post multiple pictures, you need to have your pictures on the internet somewhere. I use photobucket (it's free). Once you have your pictures in photobucket, ensure 2 copies of your web browser are enabled, one at the page where your pictures are, and the other on the page in MLHH where you wish to post your message. Simply copy the links from the pictures you wish to post to the body of the message. Hope this helps.
All the best,
David
nah...that's not thinning...that's just your bangs doin their own thing.mine do that too...they don't blend in with the rest of the hair too well..they're anti-social lol.I'd be more concerned about the acne though *grin*
Yeah i know, i hate having acne, but my acne have started to disapper more and more, 2005 i had very much, now i don't have near as much as i had back then, and that's a good thing:)
I notice that i get more acne if i eat fat food too often like hamburgers or pizza and also chocolate.
Dairy & Chocolate are a leading cause of acne.
Propecia works better as a preventative measure so it would be worth getting a professional diagnosis to know exactly where you stand.
But the weird thing is this is only visible when i have a center part, when i have a sidepart it doesn't look the same.
I think you are OK. In my opinion,That is definitely not thinning nor balding. I have the same thing going on . My bangs grow slow and on top of that , They are much thinner than the rest of my hair. Well simon , Dont worry too much about your hair and keep growing it.your hair looks awesome and will look even greater once it gets its natural color and extra length.
I think everyone has a certain amount of wispy hairs. Since I started growing out my hair, I have been paying attention to many people's hair (mostly women, since they're usually the ones with long hair). Even women have wispy hairs above the forehead and at the temples.
I don't see anything wrong. Enjoy it.
Thanks! I guess you're right, maybe i don't have anything to worry about, i'll just keep growing my hair:)
Hi Simon,
I Dont think you have anything to worry about, if you looked that closely at everyones hair on this board you'd find we all have similar whispy bits round the edge of our hair lines.
Generally if you getting dry skin its either due to how hard your water is or how gentle (or not) your shampoo is. If you have these problems with every shampoo you've tried then a dermatologist will be able to recommend you a shampoo.
Take care
Neil
