Sorry if this has been posted before, but I've only seen threads about past milestones, so I thought it would be cool to see what future milestones people are looking forward to, so post the hair growing milestone that you're waiting for!
My next milestone is my ponytail to be long enough to reach my mouth.
What are yours?
-Mihnea
My next milestone that I look forward to is being able to tie my hair in a low ponytail at the base of my neck. I've been growing my hair for 17 months, and it is almost there. I estimate another month or two should do it for this milestone =)
yeah a month or two should do it for mine too:P. good luck!

hmm..I'm not ssure why all the folk here prefer a low ponytail over a high one,oh well...I guess I'm the oddball here,in that regard, lol!!low ponytails are damaging..
Hi Jacob,
I didn't realize low ponytails were damaging, when I tail, I do tend to tail it at the base of my neck. Perhaps that would be the case if the tips of the hair barely reach the hair tie, then splits could develop, but that would probably happen wherever the hair tie is.
David
yes Dave, they are.see, unlike in a high ponytail, the tie in a low ponytail has nowhere to go when it loosens, thus it pulls on the hairs.fortunately for me,I prefer a high ponytail anyway..hehe..
I have worn a low ponytail for years.I don't understand your reasoning. If your hair is pulled tight in either style the tie is going to pull in the same direction which is further down the hair.If your talking about a half tail that might make more sense.
Arrick
I agree with you Arrick. Furthermore, when I wear it low I only take 2 turns around with the tie so it is loose. When worn high I have to take 3 or it WILL slide down. I like the feel of it MUCH better when loose. It doesn't pinch or bind. When the tie binds I just redo it. Bruce'ster
my future milestone is for my hair to stay behind the back loosely.also,my next milestone is for my bangs to stay in my ponytail.I'm not sure which one will come first...I'm estimating 6-8 months for these to happen (my bangs are extremely slow growing ::(( )
1) Grow it back as long as it was in April of '06.
2) ALAP - as long as possible (which will probably be somewhere around mid-back for me, I would be happy with that)
My long term goal is waist length, if my terminal length allows it (Actually, if it has not reached terminal at that point, I will grow past that)
My short term goal, which I hope to reach this year, if my hair keeps growing at its current length, is mid back length, and hair reaching the nipples, looking at it from the front.
David
is that why you are davidn? davidnipples? lol
Well, i guess my next milestone would be to get my bangs long enough so that they stay in a ponytail, they reach a little longer than my mouth right now so i guess i'll have to wait a few months more.
Simon
I'm praying for it to come in another year or so... Meanwhile I wait I have a mini-goal for all my hair to stay behind my back, isntead of half of it come down to the front of my shoulders, which gives a really nice look but is really unconfortable...
WAIST LENGHT, WAIST LENGHT, WAIST LENGHT!!!
And then........... TERMINAL!!! HEHE =P
Haha you have great hair, it should look amazing when it reaches waist length and terminal. Best of luck to you my friend!

My next milestone/goal will be to have 100% of my hair in a ponytail. Right now I'm at 95% an it seems like it's going to take forever!
Bruce
Next milestone: Chin-length bangs (~3-4 months)
Later: Decent ponytail (~6 months)
Sometime: Good-looking half-tail (~8-9 months)
Overall: Mid-back length (~20 months)
It'll only seem like forever... =)

Hi Mihnea,
My final goal will be to get my hair down to my hips, but thats asking a lot of my curly mop. So, the nearest milestone for me is to have my hair down the the bottom of my ribs - nearly waist length.
Neil
To be able to tuck the bangs behind my ears, hopefully by summer.
Mouse
Just reached 1 1/2 years growth this week. (will update soon) My next milestone will be 2 years. I hope to be able to get a low ponytail at that point and have the sides and front stay put. Also, It'll be summer and I'm looking forward to surfing with it a year longer than last year! Bruce'ster
For my hair to actually look like it's grown, lol....It seems like it's just been there for months, not doing much, and yet I'm positive the bangs are longer. The back curls just don't want to do anything useful, except attract the occasional girl. That's redeeming. :D
Peace
For me, the milestones are few and far between. I should reach calf-length in a year and a half.
Ed
My bangs reach my chin. Next stop, full ponytail! Then, I'd like it to be mid-back at least. We'll see how the Mrs. stands for that! ;D
Oh
I have already reach what i want to my shoulders so i can wear it down aswell as in a ponytail for work my tail is just about long enough to go into my mouth since you mention that as your goal KEEP GROWING YOU HAVE GREAT HAIR Mihnea
Axel
I have reached my "goal" already since many years - I keep my hair always around shoulder length because I experienced heavy difficulties with caring and brushing due to the thickness of my hair if it gets longer...all the knots and tangles etc, no, I dont want that...
best regards
Waist length, which is almost there. If I put my hand palm-up against the back of my belt, I can just feel the tips of my hair tickling my palm. After that, see how much longer it will get.
