My girlfriend was braiding my hair and she said I have a baldspot in the back. I'm worried sick! I have thick, somewhat frizzy long hair with lovely curls. I do notice that I am losing alot more hair than usual. I am soooo scared, not stressed, just a little sad I guess. Women love my hair, and tell me they wish they had my hair. I would hate to lose it.
It's mid back length and has been growing for 2 1/2 years now. My hair seems thin on top, but due to it's coarse nature, it is naturally thick looking. I apologize if I trail of subject, I just woke up.
Thank you and massive support for all my long haired brethren.
If you have any concerns about MPB, the best thing is to seek professional advice from a doctor, preferably a dermatologist, who can determine if there is a problem and can start treatment. The best thing about seeking professional advice is that if there is actually no problem, this will also put your mind at ease. Propecia is very effective, especially if started at a young age.
Perhaps you could post some pictures of your hair if you wish. Just remember, you have our FULL support, all of our prayers are with you here, please keep us updated.
All the best,
David
Thank you very much for the response. The hair loss has slowed down. I believe it was a combination of stress, inadequate sleep, stress, lack of vitamins and essential nutrients, and again, stress. I also wore a beanie almost every day for about a year. I'm sure this was detrimental. I am most likely over-reacting to this since long hair is a lifestyle I want to maintain for the rest of my life. Below is a picture of me from around November.
