Sorry for the caps lock, but I need your atention...
You know, it's a GREAT GREAT act of weekness to cut your hair in the 9th month stage simply because it's not looking good YET!
And this gets even more atrocious when your hair actually grows fast! My hair wasn't that lenght at all when I was at the 9th month, and I got here and I still don't feel totally happy with my hair! But is this a reason for me to cut 28 months of hard work??? NO!! You have come trhough 9 months, and that is nothing? What, you wanted to have the long hair some guys take 3 years to achieve in 9 months? No way... Please, do not cut your hair guys! You'll make is sooner or later! Give it time, you're both young and will get there eventually. You're the only ones that can make it come true to you so stick to it! You say you WANT long hair so let's stop being lazy and almost a coward and let it grow! All of us had to go trough this hard stages, and believe me, mine was HARD and I had to hear a lot of comments against my hair and myself as well and I did it and will keep on doing it because I do love long hair. If you like it as well you gotta prove it.
Sorry if I sound rude, but it pisses me off reading all these posts of people wanting to cut their locks for everything but their will... 9 months is nothing... please stick to your journey, that will only proof you're faithfull to yourselves and don't care about others.
Sean, your hair WILL settle down, as well as your Eric. About your hair texture, just let us all know what's the problem with it and we'll try and help you. Hair textures can be changed with better hair care. My hair was really dry and now I'm passed it.
We are all here to a purpose: grow our hair long and encourage others to do it, specially if we know people wanna do it. Believe me, all I want is to see you guys happy, and this is why I'm asking you to keep trying, for everything settles down in the end and will look better than you ever imagined...

my hair was horible before , in the 9th month , my hair was still growing vertically... that was horible and now... i'v got nice hair :)
my hair was also very dry and i repaired it with oil, egg, conditioner... and now it's just fine !
Hair can look really better if you take care of it !

I find it interesting how many people here are at that 9 month awkward stage, and how many are stressing and talking about cutting it. I'm quickly coming up on two years, and the talk and photos serve well to remind me how difficult that time was for myself.
Eric, Sean, and all the other awkward stagers here, as Joao David has said, STICK IT OUT, it will pay off sooner than you think!
