Well, knowing how unruly my hair is, I thought I was the perfect candidate to start a new thread in which I hope everyone here will participate:
SHOW US YOUR BED HEAD!!
Here are my mug shots:
and from the side:
Now I am hoping I am not the only one to post my bed head pics, so please participate.
Thanks,
Shawn (Mr.Crow)
Whoa Shawn, Now that's some wild bedhead. But it looks cool.. :)
Unfortunately I had already brushed out my bedhead so I can't add any pic today.
Keep it growing.
Chris
Whoa, that's some bedhead! That is a LOT of hair! What is fascinating is that there seems to be some red colour around the edges of your otherwise dark brown to black hair. Is there actually some red in your hair or is it the light?
Unfortuntely, mine is combed now, would probably be too scary to post anyway, lol!
David
My hair har reddish undertones which the light can catch and bring out. One of my first posts was a request for advice after my stupidly deciding to take out some of the encroaching whites (before they get noticeable to others) by using a just for men hair colouring. How I regretted it. The problem was that while brown dye mathced brown hair, it didn't allow for any of the reddish undertones.
I hope you (and others) post. Perhaps tomorrow? (or, heck, take a nap!);)

Haha. My hair is at the length where it's not too long to fall out of bedhead and not too short to not have it. The result, perfect bedhead(if there is such a thing)
I will not post because i look stupid haha, like flat head on one side :P
I'd have to admit, yours is pretty scary too!! :P
NOT A CHANCE!!!
The good news is that the longer it gets the better it will behave.
When the hair can be made into a ponytail while you sleep, you
will not wake up with a 'bed head'!
I snapped this picture about five minutes after rolling out of bed. As a bonus, you can all see my "Mom don't call at that hour if it's not an emergency" expression.
Mouse
That is GREAT Bed Head, Mouse. Thanks for being so good natured!
Shawn
PS. If you can't embarrass yourself in front of friends, you can you embarrass yourself in front of.
PPS I hope we get some other pics. I hope no one takes their image too seriously.

I think that picture really shows off the lovely texture of your hair. It looks very thick and vibrant.
It gets wavier in the mornings and if I let it dry with minimal combing. So far I don't tend to style it that way, but I think as it gets longer that will be more of an option.
Thanks for the kind words, Jason.

This isn't bad. You should have seen me when I had a dog that would wake me up by licking my head. Talk about "cow" licks!
Bruce
Thanks for the courage with which you posted. Too bad we don't get to see the full cow lick.
Is it just me, or is it a bit less bed head-ish when one's hair is longer? Straighter?
Shawn

Good point there, Shawn, about hair straightness and length. My hair wasn't really bedheadish (new word to be added to the Oxford dictionary lol!) this AM, hence no picture, possibly because my hair is straighter than yours.
And if I didn't have to get to work at such a darned early hour, I might put a picture up, but the thought of taking a picture of myself at 5.30 AM is not exactly appealing!
David
And I thought having my cat try to groom my head was annoying! :-)
Actually, Bruce, that's not bad at all (as Shawn said, straight hair gives less bedhead)--I've had FAR worse mornings, lol! That hair on your left side (the curl) shows some serious length going on, a lot for just over one year of growth. I have seen guys posting 18 month updates with a lot less length than yours, does it really grow that fast? Perhaps its time for an update and an avatar change!
David
At 5.30 AM, all bleary eyed, hair a rat's nest, I am NOT photogenic! Not to be published!
And Jacob, what about you? Where's YOUR bedhead!
Actually, your hair doesn't look that much like a rat's nest, and I like how the beard is coming along!
Thanks for being a good sport,
Mouse
Wow! David, I think you look much better with a beard. Keep it growing!
lol!!the hair doesn't look bad at all,but you do lookk a little drunk in that pic!!:P and the beard is getting better:P
my update is comin up soon...so along with the update,I'll post a bedhead photo...sounds fair?? :P
OK, I hope that's a promise! I am looking forward to BOTH the update AND the bedhead photo! I guess the drunk look must come from myself holding the camera in my eyes at 5.30 AM, not a great way to start the day, lol!
David
The look in the eyes tells me the hour. Good for yo for posting (tough I notice your hair looks relatively tame compared with some of us).
Good form, Sir!
Shawn
A whiles back, but a keeper methinks :)
Great shot. I particularly like th estyle of moustache and chin hair.
Shawn
All the picts came out blurry, I might look pissed off but I had a rough time trying to figure out my wifes new camera. I was not mad, just still asleep. LOL
That is a good one. Thanks, Chris, for posting! (I like that we are so good natured!)
Cheers!
Shawn
