Hey everyone,
Ive decided to grow my hair out (obviously) and the last cut was 5 months ago. Back in August I got a fade 2, so the sides were fairly buzzed , with the top having a rather short length. My question is, would it be good in the long run if i got all of my hair cut one length? Im not exactly sure what type of cut looks nice in the long run, and if equal length or layers have any advantages.
Thanks for the help,
Croovis
Well, Croovis...
The best thing you can do now is let it grow . Stay away from scissors. Your bangs are going to be much shorter than the rest of your hair but it is normal so don't even worry. Maybe after 2 years of growth you can trim it to make it even and get rid of any split-ends. Well , Good luck to you on your journey! By the way.. What is a fade-2?
all the best,
chris
Oh well a fade is when the sides get buzzed real short and then tapered or "faded" into the length on top. The 2 stands for the number of graduations between the hair down on the side and the hair on top.
Anyways it kinda feels like my bangs enjoy a length advantage over the sides, but i guess it cant be too much
Depends what style you want to achieve!!!
hey man,welcome..
I would suggest to forget about scissors and just let it grow, for at least 2 years, then decide whether you want it all at one length or a "u" shape.I strongly advise against layering it though...hairdressers tend to butcher your hair..and besides that,it wouldn't look good, cause you'll need all the thickness you can get for super-long hair.well, good luck!!
Welcome to the journey of growing out your hair! I agree with the others, throw away the scissors! It's great that your bangs grow fast (for most guys, the bangs are the slowest growing part), this will give you a distinct advantage down the road when you want to make a ponytail.
Keep it growing,
David

Welcome
I see the questions get easier while the type of cut is NO cut at all just let it grow long
