Hi,
I have had a buzz cut(1/4 inch) back in mid september and have been growing my hair since. It's about 3.1 inches right now. Is that considered a good growing rate? Any good supplements, besides good diet to make it grow a little faster? Any ideas?
Thanks
Shyam
at a good rate already. 2.85 inches of growth in 4.5 months is a growth rate of 0.633 inches per month. That is 7.6 inches per year. Hair typically grows 0.5 inches per month or 6 inches per year. Your hair grows 26.7 percent faster than average.
Others here may disagree with me, but a healthy diet and supplements may speed up the growth of your hair slightly, maybe 5% faster than it is growing now. Long hair is a long term committment and it takes years to get really long. There are no short cuts.
If you are average height(5'8" to 5'10"), expect it to take:
about 2 years to drape on your shoulders,
about 3 years to reach mid back length,
about 4 years to reach lower back length,
about 5 years to reach your waist.
If you are tall, it will take longer.
If you are short, it will take less time.
