anyways...the poofiness
i used to relax my hair to keep it straight, but it tends to be drying so while growing my hair out i opted not too, now the curls r back and its really poofy can anyone recommend a product or technique, or just some idea on how to tame it as im growing it?
BTW...My hair is coarse with loose/medium type curls and waves.
thanx :)
i thought the pictures where of yourself just shows how wrong i can be
the best thing to do with curly hair is just to leave it alone,DON'T comb it or brush it (especially if dry) or anything like that cause it tends to get poofy and frizz up.
Amen to that!! =)
I'd say you'd do best by changing your mind about what you are aiming for. Curls don't look like straight hair without a lot of manipulation (and the resulting damage and dryness). I'd say search for picturs of people that look to have your hairtype and aim for that.
For maintenance, be sure to condition often and shampoo occasionally, let it air dry and let it grow!

sunsilk's Anti-Poof 24/7 creme:

I use it myself; I don't use nearly as much as the woman in the video, but it really works well for me. Just put it through your hair when it is wet, and let it dry. When it's dry, it will be just as "poofy" as when it was wet, which isnt very much. I highly recommend it.
best of luck to you
The word 'poofiness' means something else entirely in British English! :-)
