Hi, guys.
Yeah, some of you should already know me.
I'm a 17 year old boy from bavaria in germany.
I started growing my hair in october 2005 with 5cm.
There was one cut in february 06 with 10cm and in november 06 i cut them almost straigt... im gonna repeat that step in june without losing length...
so these are my pics.
Am I on a good way to get a beard if there are already much middle-thick hair on my chin and all over the face?

IMHO, I suggest that a handsome young man like you not disappear behind too much hair, but consider allowing a moustache to grow, just to put a masculine punctuation on your find androgynous hair.

Your hair is beautiful indeed (even if in the photo it is not seen very well!): splendid color, smooth, great thickness. COMPLIMENTS!
As it regards the beard, it seems me that you are on the good road: wishes, but not to make to grow it too much!
It certainly looks as though you have nice, straight, and thick high quality hair, I don't think the trims are necessary at all. Why not just let it grow a lot longer, skipping the trims? Do you have a length of hair you would like to reach?
As for a beard, the best thing to do is just try, if you have thick facial hair, you probably have a great shot at growing a good one even at a young age, most guys your age aren't that lucky.

Growing in of the beard varies more on men than anything else when it comes to maturation. Mine grew in as thick as it is now, when I was 14. And I know one man who had no beard at all at age 25 and one year later his beard was as thick as mine.

Du hast sehr schoene Haare! LOL... I won't torture you with my German. Your hair looks great and will only get better as it gets longer. Keep it growing and I look forward to future updates. =)

Sounds like your facial hair is coming in pretty typical for a 17-year-old; probably fairly thick at your chin & sideburns and sparse on your cheeks. That's why many guys start off with goatees.
