It has been awhile since I've been on here. I was bored, after having come back from the dentist after that wonderful experience of getting two of my back teeth filled (and my mouth still feels like $#!+). So, I decided to take a couple of pictures of my hair for the general enjoyment of the folks on the long hair board. Hopefully they'll inspire others to grow thier hair out as well, as I certainly enjoy my own.

Play it HARD! Play it LOUD! Keep it METAL!
Looks good Steven! Man, it's a good thing you took the pictures now, later the pain killer is going to wear off and you wouldn't want to do this.
Take care,
Bruce
You have an awesome thick head of hair, great to hear you are enjoying it. I was wondering how long you've been growing it? Going to the dentist is NOT fun, I don't envy you one bit there! Hopefully you will remain cavity free from now on.
Keep it growing,
David
I've been growing it for a couple of years. I've had long hair before, than for some reason, I let my mother talk me into getting it cut during the summer of 2004. I've been growing it out again since than.
Here is a picture from that summer of myself
Of course, it could get worse. Check out this picture of myself from some 6 or so years ago (complete with a mullet! :0)
Your hair looks really cool! I like the color a lot and it looks really thick! Keep it growing and keep it metal \m/
PS, you remind me a bit of "Lord Worm", the vocalist from Cryptopsy.

but just a little:P
All the best
Hey Steven, your hair looks great. It is thick and full. Posting a few pics is a good way to fight boredom for sure. Hopefully your ordeal at the dentist won't have any lasting effects.
Long hair forever.
Absalom
The mane is looking real nice, Steve!
Thanks for the update,

So does yours! It seems our hair is pretty similiar.
Thanks guys for the great comments. It almost seems a sin for somebody 37 years old to have that much hair, but I definitly inherited the Lithuanian genes from my family (in fact, full quarter Lithuanian by decent - from my grandmother on my mother's side). There is some grey starting to sneak in there, though - oh well - rather have grey hair than no hair. As cold as it has been around here, having all that hair is actually turn out to be a nice advantage, especially when I am out skiing, but it sure sucks in the summer-time when it is friggan humid and 100 degree here, though. Again, it must be those Lithuanian genes. I just take the cold much better than the heat (I often keep the temps in the house around 65 degrees, otherwise, it gets to hot in here)
My mouth was feeling much better later in the day, enough that I still managed to make it to the gym to do some working out (and thankfully got done in time, as it is starting to snow to beat hell here!)
Here is one more pic of my hair in a half pony tail (and yes, I do wear my hair like that in public from time to time - I just think that is such a cool look. Don't give a crap what anybody else in the public thinks of it, but than again, I don't think to many people will try to start $#!+ with a pretty well built 6 foot, 240 pound guy).
Your hair looks great! Sorry about the teeth, but glad you shared with all of us your boredom. Great inspiration! :-)
That's never fun. At least you can smile about that great head of hair. I hope you keep growing it!
Thanks - you got some really cool hair yourself!
Oh yeah, hell yeah! Friggan Metal is 4 EVER! \m/ (while taking those pictures, I had Circle II Circle's Middle of Nowhere album playing on those Klipsch behind me.)
Your hair looks great, and yeah your spot on - metal rules forever!!
