I decided last weekend to dye the hair, black just for something new. I took peoples comments into consideration and made sure not to use ammonia based dye and I got semi-permanent, which is supposed to wash out in 28 shampoos.
I actually did not like it at all at first, my hair looked fake, like a wig, but as the days pass, in the light my hair looks AWESOME (I think) and I have had several ladies comment on how much they like it and how much it makes my eyes stick out. The browns pop though and I really like it now too.
So here is a pic.
Also I am a swimmer and we have conference coming up, everyone and I mean everyone on the team has shaved their heads. I am refusing to do so and they are threatening to cut it off. I can't stress to them more how much it would piss me off if they tried to fuck with my hair. I tell them that I will literally fight them if they try, but I fear that they will try to cut it in the next week.....What to do???
Make it VERY CLEAR that, despite any thoughts of theirs or traditions to the contrary, they do NOT have your permission to mess with your hair, and that you will file criminal charges against anyone who does.

I agree! That would truly be a crime to have that nice head of hair saved off!
Congrats on not using chemicals that change the structure of your hair.
You can also assure your team members that you will get a swimming cap so your hair does not slow your speed in the water.
