Did you see it this week? Admittedly the guy loved his new look and his hair wasn't particularly important to him. He did seem quite attached to his beard though, but I'm one of the 67% of women that don't really like beards so....
I do wish they had kept some of the length of his hair though - I think taking off the beard would have taken off 10 years instantly because of the grey in it (though I thought that looked pretty cool!).
I guessed his age at 38 to start with - not far off his real age. I thought he looked better with glasses as well. Ho hum.
For those of you not in the UK here's a link - actually both photos featured on that page are pretty bad!! He looked better on the telly than he does in either of them.

I saw it! He looked amazing after, like a model! That picture does him no justice. Amazing what a little bit of care can do.
Well thats one opinion what TV land can do...lol!!!

I liked his before look more..he looked more interesting and free.
As far as the after..he just looks metrosexual...not that there's anything wrong with that. (which reminds me, I haven't watched any Seinfeld reruns in forever)
I hated his hair after.
It looked like a bowl cut.
I guess my only reservation about the process is the stereotype it promotes. If he's happy with his new look, then that's great, but I don't think he looked bad or wrong the other way. I disagree with the episode guide where it says "The main thing Simon's was missing was any kind of shape or style." He did have a style: natural. It's too easy to get sucked into the world's fantasy that if you don't look like A, B, or C then you must have no style at all.

Absoulutely. When she was going through the photos of him over the years she said something like "in all these pictures you're a handsome young mand until we get to here...." indicating the current picture - what a cheek!!
he looked younger afterwards but they did things other than cut hair, for example they got rid of his glasses. Maybe we'll get the show over here in about 10 years : ( Right now, PBS, the American public broadcasting system, is showing episodes of Keeping Up Appearances with Patricia Routledge. I can stand to watch it about 10 minutes because I can't stand the character she plays; her character is wrapped so tightly and everyone around her suffers.
episode 9?

I fancy the bloke on the left, the one on the right looks like a Beatle.. lol
