Hi all-
Just to let you all know that next week both Luckskind and myself will be asking for any of you that are interested, to submit an original long hair quote thought-up by yourself. (For several examples, please take a look in the Gift Shoppe to get an idea.) You guys are most inventive, so I thought I would post this ahead of time to get the gears in your heads thinking of something catchy. (Ha ha ha.........something just came to my mind: "A Haircut? What's that?") LOL
Luckskind has a certain amount of space in the Gift Shoppe reserved especially just for "quotes," and both of us would be most happy to have these quotes (or sayings as space allows) that YOU have thought-up yourself included in the Shoppe. The rules will be posted next week when we will open this up for one and all. So far, those that have made purchases from the Gift Shoppe seem to especially enjoy something with a "quote" on it.

ps: We want this to be a fun thing. There are absolutely no strings attached that one must buy something. No way! T-Shirt time IS coming-up before you know it for the Summer, and we desire that the Hyperboard Gift Shoppe has the most fantastic sets of pro long hair quotes available on the face of the earth.
hiya. starting the awkward stage (no cuts ~6 months) i decided to upload this light hearted 'quote'
From one of my first posts, after finding this board 10 years ago, in response to someone concerned about looking like a woman:
"You're going to be mistaken for a woman. Get used to it."
here's one I thought of: "I long for long hair.."
and one that Karsten mentioned in one of his posts a while ago:"I'm the mane attraction!"
I thought of 2 quotes but they might be a bit offensive!

1) "If you can read this, my hair is not long enough." (on back of shirt)
2) "It's not a bald spot, it's a solar panel for a sex-machine!" (if you do have a bald spot)

This is fun. I've had plenty of years to think up long hair quotes.
There's no such thing as too long hair.
One can never be too rich, too thin, or have too long hair.
These are good responses to "get a haircut". Putting them on a shirt would act as a pre-emptive strike.

First of all, thanks Justin for putting up a an announcement
on next weeks "HAIR QUOTES" submissions.
The 'rules' will be announced next week but here are a few tips:
1. Although it is OKAY to enter a quote you heard somewhere else,
it is better if you think it up yourself. Why? Because it's more FUN!
2. You can submit AS MANY QUOTES AS YOU WANT TO! That's right,
submit 1, 10 or more.
3. Justin will be putting up a "HAIR QUOTES-(continued)" post EVERY DAY next week,
we will be doing that to keep the post near the top of the Hyperboard.
Always try to post under the most recent "HAIR QUOTES(continued)"
NOTE:
This is not really a contest because we are not giving away any prizes but...
...all selected quotes will be appearing soon on several
Gift Shoppe products!
IMPORTANT If YOUR quote is amon those selected you can request that your name or member name be included on the product right next to your Hair Quote.
BUT we will NOT use your name or membername UNLESS you give us YOUR PERMISSION to do so. So think about that too.

3. After the BEST quotes have been selected they will appear on various products in the Gift Shoppe.
Have FUN! Carry a pad and pen around with you just in case you get an idea and want to jot it down before you forget it!
