I've been growing my hair for a while now (I started just over six years ago and discovered this board shortly after that, spent much time here every day for about two years and still periodically check back). Sometimes I decide to change it up a bit. The most drastic change I've made was back in October when I decided that I wanted a mohawk but then changed my mind at the last minute, leaving me with a 2"x3" bald chunk over my left ear where I had already started shaving (something that I actually regret ZERO percent....this gives you and idea of what it looks like now: http://photos-926.ak.facebook.com/ip002/v56/213/73/162100900/n162100900_30091926_5079.jpg).
I recently decided to streamline my appearance and one of the first steps I took toward that was to grab the flat iron.
Also, here is a picture (from way back in August) of what it looks like naturally: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v11/blue25000000/herr.jpg
Okay...that is my ramble.
your hair looks awesome either way, really cool.
Thanks for reconsidering... a mohawk only looks good for a week tops, then you find out you hate it and then shave it all off. Be aware that straightening can damage hair...
Your hair looks good either way.
I was going for Amanda Moore's look:
Thank god you backed out and didnt get the mohawk. It would be a shame to see that lovely mane severed. Your hair looks great both ways but i personally like the wavy look instead.
You have truly awesome hair with some serious length, which looks great both straight and curly. I am certainly glad you didn't go for the mohawk, and decided to keep growing it.
Keep it growing,
David
I like the straightened look more than the natural look, but that might be only because the natural pic has the curls only at the ends which might be typical for some curly hairs, just looks unusual to me :)
Looks great, glad you posted
I intend to grow my hair as long as yours is in the top picture, and because my hair is straight anyway it should look like the top picture does. Thanks for giving me something to look forward to!
all i can may is... me-ow!
