I've been poking around this board for quite some time, mostly lurking, posting every 6 months or so. Now that I've got my digital camera working again I thought I'd finally post a picture so that maybe I'll feel a little closer to the community.
I'm loving my hair more and more every day, getting back to normal for me after I made the mistake of cutting it all off. Two years growth down the drain, but at least it truly made me realize that I did want longhair :)
So this is me as of about 3 weeks ago.
Glad that you have finally introduced yourself!
Your hair looks great and seems to grow quickly.
Has anyone ever told you that you bear a resemblance to Karl Urban who played Eomer in the LotR movies among many other roles? Or, that he looks like you!
Cutting of two year's worth of growth can be a GOOD thing because it makes you realize that you truly WANT to be a longhair.
They say we can only understand things by contrasts: heat and cold, light and dark, etc. And so by cutting your hair
you now realize that you truly want to be a longhaired man.
This is a good thing in that as you are growing your hair own you will
not be haunted by thughts like: "Do I really want to grow my hair long?"
By the way, your hair texture looks like the kind that avoids the
worst part of the 'awkward stage.' Looks healthy too!
Good Luck!
What a bummer!
Your hair looks excellent and you dont seem to be troubled by the awkward stage. Just hang in there and before you know it , You have attained the length you once had. Good Luck!
