... for the tremendous support and wonderful compliments regarding my hair journey. At my age (52 in a couple of months) my hair is my mane attraction.

My 2007 Longhair Photos Group
Karsten...I just looked at your new photos (February 2nd) and it looks as if your hair is straighter...your 2006 photos have a more "touseled"(sp?) look...it looks great and I absolutely think you have caught everyone's attention with your unique photos. Have you ever had any trims?
I do get a very minor trim of the ends approx. every 8 weeks. I know that my hair would be longer if I did not get it trim, but I have a stylist who understands that I hoping to at least grow my hair to my waist. The only regret I have is not having the more natural V shape in the back (see photo).
I think my hair might be straighter due not only to the longer length weighing it down, but I have started to use Garnar's Hair Masque deep conditioning and I have really liked the results: less tangling, easier to brush, and hangs great in a ponytail at work.
(The February photos were actually taken yesterday (2/11) ... the album in my photos group is only labeled "02" so as it will be listed after the January album which is listed as "01" ... sorry for the confusion.) I have more photos to add this week.

For what it's worth, I love that straight across blunt cut effect.
I should add that I wash only once a week (sometimes I go almost 2 weeks) and I only air dry my mane - never use a blow dryer on it.
When washing I only used shampoo every other week, but use conditioner every time.

You have very impressive hair for being 52 years old, i think the long hair makes you look younger too:)

your hair is great man!!hopefully I'll have THAT much thickness at your age (not that I'm implying that you are that old..it's just that many guys loose hair in their 30's)
