anyone even heard of this disorder before?weird...but then again, people are "mutilating" themselves everyday (hair),so...
Woah. No I hadn't heard of this, I've heard of body dismorphic disorder which seems similar in consiquence, but apparently this is nothing about appearance. I wonder how many people suffer from this world wide.
Whoa "I won't be happy till I lose my legs" that one phrase was really disturbing...

I had heard a similar story once about a doctor in Scottland who had actually removed a bloke's healthy leg at his own request. It seems strange indeed, but then it takes all kinds.
I've got a very simple cure. Put yourself in my mother
in laws place for 24 hours and it'll any desire you have
in this department.
In the last few year she was alive she could not walk.
She was confined to a wheelchair. Only then do you
really comprehend how inaccessible the real world is.
When you're in a wheel chair and you're faced with steps to
get passed. Or if you want to enter a building and the only
way to enter is some guy carry you up the stairs..
