Is there a difference between the L'Oreal Paris Studio Line FX (comes in a clear container) and L'Oreal Paris Studio Light Head (black container)? I just came back after browsing three stores and was only able to find the black variety. Any help from people who have used these products would be extremely appreciated.
This might sound odd, but I've been off silicone products for over a year and am afraid to start again, so I don't want to use something too strong. Because of this I'd again like to say that I would very much appreciate any help.
Long time no see everyone that remembers me. :)
I think I'll post an update once I get some new pictures. It's been a looong while.
If you saw my pics the other day, then you know what effects silicones have
on hair: none.
If silicones do anything they protect by keeping hair from becoming brittle.
Just stop and think: why does you hair look good right after washing it? Because
the there is still enough water in it to make it behave and look good.
I have been using L'Oreal Melting Gel and L'Oreal Liquid spray Gel
for 5 years
and I can't find anything to complain about.
True, silicones can leave a film behind but WHAT is that film doing? Protecting maybe?
Silicones are also good for preventing tangles and knots because
nothing sticks to silicone...including other hairs coated with it.
If you want to complete remove silicones, there are products out there that will do that but
in all the years I have been using melting Gel, I haven't had any reason
to strip my hair of them.
By the way, there MUST be a difference between
L'Oreal Paris Studio Light Head and L'Oreal Paris Studio Line FX Melting Gel.
I would imagine that 'Light Head' means that it is a thinner gel?
Just guessing.
Hope I have answered your questions.
It's bloody cold in New England.
