I don't like Britney Spears at all, but when I read this I was thinking: "WHAT HAS GOTTEN INTO HER?!" - She has shaved her head bald! It looks so... Strange. Especially for a woman.
Yes, I just read that over at the Long Hair Community. Personally, I am not a fan of Britney or her music, but she did have nice hair, I can only assume she'll grow it back. I can only assume she did this on a whim and she will seriously regret it later.
I used to listen to her songs when i was 9... now i think she looks like in the clip of overprotected....

The hairdresser who was there at the salon that night was
just saying on CNN that she thought the hair extensions
were on too tight, that she probably just wanted them off.
****CNN at about 5.49pm this after noon.
Apprently Britney came in and wanted her head shaved. The
hairdressser declined at which point Britney apparently
picked up the shears and did it herself.
That's pretty hardcore, gotta respect that.

Either the poor sod's lost the plot or maybe she's done it for the reaction, if so she's got that right, after all, all press is good press.
What the hell was she thinking? She's always been okay to me physically, not as hot as Christina Aguilera but without hair...YUCK! Long hair on women is an absolute prerequisite for me!
I think it's sad, but also a little funny that people are so aghast by this. If it was any non-celebrity I doubt there'd be so much uproar.
Hell, if it was anybody else I'd say they were a strong and unique person. In this case I can't help but assume it was a publicity stunt and possibly influenced by drugs. Sorry if that sounds pessimistic, ignorant, or snide.
Maybe I'm wrong to assume these things, but it's so hard to take seriously.
On the other hand, it is sad that she has come to this. This would be sad for anybody, given the likely circumstances. It sounds like maybe a cry for help.
