Hello ,
as you can see on all my picts , i have "mostly straight" hair until the ends that are very curly... i think these ends are very damaged and that would be why they curl like hell here is a pict i took just after brushing my hair
do you think it could be beceause of damage or my hair naturally behave like hell when it get longer ? when i had shorter hair i really didnt took care about my hair health (using blodryer at hot setting on my ends... and other stupids things).
plus my ends are very very dry even if i use oil and i put a leave in conditioner in my hair very time i wash it (once a week)
i'm gonna look how my bangs that are shorter will behave , if they doesnt curl like that i will wait to reach my mid back and i will trim my damaged ends...
do you think there is a way to repair these ends ? or i just should wait to get longer hair and trim these stupids ends ?
Cya

Hi Angel,
Actually, I don't think your ends are damaged at all, as far as I can see. You have wonderfully thick, healthy, hair which I would die for. I have looked at your pictures on your journal page (GREAT job with your hair journal, by the way!), and actually think your hair is fairly wavy rather than straight. The only reason the upper part looks straighter is because the weight of your hair is stretching out the waves, causing the hair at the top to look much straighter. The ends, which are not subject to gravity, will always be the curliest, this is PERFECTLY normal and nothing to worry about! Have you actually examined the ends and discovered splits, if so, you can use a pair of VERY sharp scissors and trim ONLY the splits, otherwise I would leave everything alone and just keep growing that awesome mane of yours! Hope this helps.
All the best,
David
"stupid" ends?
I LOVE your hair man,how can you say something like that?that curling is perfectly natural..in fact,my hair is just like yours..only yours is a bit thicker!!
I agree with Dave, plus some thoughts of my own:are you overshampooing your hair?that's probably the reason your ends are dry. Also,if you shampoo the entire shaft, stop doing that!!it's only necessary to to shampoo/massage the scalp!!I had a dry ends problem myself a month or so ago,and when I started shampooing the scalp only, the problem dissappeared!!Also, try experimenting with cone-free and non-cone-free shampoos/conditioners to see what works best for you!the best of luck..

your hair is wavy not damaged dude, keep it growing \m/
I do not see any problems with your hairs' ends. It's just wavy/curly. My hair is like that, too. Because I don't wash my hair everyday, it straightens. A long time ago I liked that, but now I look forward to my washes because my hair resumes its curly nature. You don't need a cut now. And even if you did, don't worry about it. I haven't trimmed my hair since May 15, 2006. I have split ends, but I have no problem with them because it's not everywhere. When my hair is nice and oily, they aren't as visible. take care!
I dont know if anyone will read this but thanks you all for your help...
i'm gonna wait until my hair is long enough to make a litle trim (in 1 or 2 years lol) to see if it's better or not... or if my hair look better ^^
Thanks you again , cya
