A recent post inspired me to check out the world record for longest hair. ir belongs to a chinese woman named Xie Qiuping.

the pic is terribly small but you can see all 18 and a half feet!!!
that is just completely insane.
Wow - thats amazing. I really like the pic. At that point it must get tough to walk around with though.
Looks like she has a hat at her side. You can bet most people would never know she has unusually long hair if they passed her on the street. I'm sure her hair is carefully put into an updo most of the time and having it on display like in the photograph is a rarity for her.
