I wondered lately. Should we (as community of men with long hair or as individual) react on negative news or commercials regarding men with long hair? So for instance I reacted when I saw this

You said: "The clip is about a very neat women who wants to buy
a music cd and she wants to listen the cd with headset first."
I did not see the commercial, but from what you said, it would seem
that while it was okay for a neat woman (with long hair, I assume) it was okay
to use the headphones but it was not okay for a longhaired man
because the assumption was that his hair must be dirty?
You were right to complain--and I think it's a good thing. But since
longhaired men will forever be in the minority, such complaints will
be ignored.
The "longhaired men having dirty hair" thing is not completely undeserved. Unfortunately
there are men who do not cut their hair and who give up on grooming altogether.
Woman can be in exactly the same situation but because long hair on women is
so common, people would have to notice something else about her
to make such an assuption.
Here I give the url of the clip, I hope you can see it this time.
I've tested it!, copy and paste.
It's nice to hear I did the right thing.

I find that that's more of a negative potrayal of heavy metal fans (long hair is a stereotypical trait) than general men with long hair. Regardless, it's a dumb commercial but I wouldn't sweat over it.
I was just an example, but what I mean is that I think it's good to make a statement in such cases, longhair men also live on this world. It has to to with respect for each other.

The woman in this clip takes the headset and there are some hairs stuck in it, she has a "disgusted" face expression.
Come on, people, who cares?
i dont know, im usually offended by anti long hair stuff, but this commercial made me laugh.
