I was going to cut off a few more inches but I decided to leave it alone for now since I had just cut off 8 inches. Anyway I'm liking this length, 30 inches, and I think I will let it grow close to waist length again before I do anything drastic and world changing. So in celebration of this unexciting news, here are some pics with different lighting for no real reason.
First, here's flash and me unshaven. I often think about growing a beard but always stop at about this length:

that's great news!!there's really no need to cut off more..that's about my goal length right there!!(midback).maybe you should grow a beard and if you don't like it,shave it.you would look good either way..lol..the last pic looks Undertaker-ish!!!
Yeah I think I may try the beard thing. Yeah the last pic is a little evil. Too bad I can't do the rolling the eyes up thing UT does though, lol.
Yeah, looks great, and you know what - grow that beard, everybody else is - join the club, I think it will suit your slim facial structure well. Keep up the magnificent work!!

That is an awesome mane you have there, certainly looks good and healthy, it's great to hear you're going to grow to waist length again (my goal is around that length) I'm definitely looking forward to your future updates!

You have great-looking hair!!! But, did i hear you correctly when you said you have already cut off 8 inches?? (I'm adjusting my hearing aide as I type this...) WOW, 8 inches is a LOT of hair, --- and yet you STILL have a lot of hair!!! Long hair looks excellent on you (which, in my hair-fanatic way of viewing the world, always means, "the longer, the better!")!!
And as far as the beard goes... well, you're just one of those lucky dudes that can probably pull it off either way; but just so happen to look GREAT clean-shaven. As for me, the last time I shaved my beard entirely off I felt like I was looking in the mirror at a 5th grader, --- NOT something I was aiming for (lol)!!

Thanks for the compliment. Yep you heard correct. I usually go for a bout a week or two without shaving, shave the stubble and let it grow again. People think I look younger than I use to, which is weird since I'm not very old anyway, but someone saw a picture of me from six years ago and said I look younger now, which disturbed me.
That a great mane you've got there! The nice thing about trimming hair at your length is that even with 8 inches gone, you're still a long hair!

Seriously, those are cool pictures, and I think you would do well to go a little further with the beard. You have a face that would be wonderfully framed with one. Thanks for the compliment. I'm liking this length, it was just too long before, it was over 3 feet previously after all.
When I've had some beard growth before it made me look pretty "evil" but I guess it's because it's quite dark and my hair is dark. And if I shave it as a goatee I'd have even more people telling me I look like Johnny Depp or Orlando Bloom and that happens enough already, lol. I think I'll try the beard thing though, maybe.
Weird lighting or not, your hair is great! it suits you very well and a beard might be a good addition to it, who knows? :P. Keep it growing!

Looks great now, if the top pic is the most accurate looking than it looks like we have a similar hair type. Your pic gives me a bit of an idea what I can look forward to!
Did you just cut the 8 inches and regret it cause it sounds like you are regrowing that back and beyond?
This picture is from when my hair was longer.
As for how my hair looks in the pictures, they're all accurate in some way. The first picture involves flash and flash makes hair's texture look a lot different than it does in natural light. I would say most often my hair looks like the second picture.
I don't regret the cut, I had 38 inches of hair and cut it to 30, and was planning to cut more but decided to stop at where it is now. It will grow out again obviously but I'm sure I will cut it back to this length eventually.
