Hi to all of you! Well, i have a big problem with my hair when i 'm doing sports. My hair reach almost my elbows and i pull them back in a ponytail while i train. But this isn't enough to keep them firm and tight. Some of the hair keep slipping away from the base of my ponytail and tickle my neck, no matter how firm the ponytail is. If you have any ideas (or if you know any other useful websites) about how to keep my hair so they don't bother me while i am training, i would be thankfull.
You might try using the larger, no metal, ties, and instead of pulling your hair through the tie three times, double up the mass of hair so it is tight against your head. There are multiple ways you can do this, but it stops the flopping pony tail. Look at Gollan's directions for tying a bun. So many of us are fearful of being feminine that we avoid obvious solutions. A bun on a man is a masculine hairstyle.

Forget what it's called, but you could try putting your hair in a few ponytails (one big strand, but having a hair tie every six inches or so). Or maybe braiding it?
I don't know if you ever saw the movie "Barry Lyndon" (set in late 18th century Europe), but all the military guys had ponytails they wrapped up in a black ribbon (wound it down the length of the whole ponytail) - that should definitely work.
