Had some unexpected support over the last week.
I saw my parents over the weekend and as usual my mom ask me if she could cut some of my hair. Before I could even answer my pop told her to just leave my head alone. I was surprised since my dad was the last person in my family I would have thought to back me up on this matter. I think its because he used to be a long hair himself, check it out:
Another instance happend while I was doing my walking meditations(just walkin and thinkin). Ever since I've grown my hair I instinctively know when someone is staring at the back of my head. So I had this feeling while walking around so I turn around and surely enough this woman is staring at the back of my head. I just smiled said hi and chatted her up a bit then we ended up going for coffee and talked about a few things including the topic of long hair on men. She was very supportive and said she would like it if more men grew out their hair. Schweet!

That is terrific that your dad stuck up for you like that, once a longhair always a longhair, well maybe not but its the thought that counts. That is terrific news.
It is also great that you get unexpected compliments on your hair, though you must get them all the time because your hair is sensational! Do you get many negative comments, I have heard here that once you get to a certain length the comments go away, just wondering if thats true :)

Hi Daedalus, I have to say your hair ranks up there with probably the top 3 best hair I have ever seen, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. It is straight, thick, and shiny, and in PERFECT condition right to the tips. It also grows VERY fast, over an inch a month from the shirt comparison pictures. (How long have you been growing it?) I believe you may actually have the ability to grow floor length hair, as there is no thinning even at the ends, indicating you are FAR from terminal length! Are you considering growing to floor length?
I am VERY impressed with what you "ripped out in a few hours", your artwork is outstanding!

Thats stunning hair you got there cant for the life of me think why your mum would want to cut it which brings me to the conclusion that your hair is far better than her own hair !
