I have a quick question, does the facial hair grow with the same speed as the hair on top of your head?
This may vary from person to person, but I believe my own beard actually grows more slowly than my head hair. It certainly limits its own length more than does my head hair.
Are the pigments the same colour? I have blond hair and a red beard. I am of Scandinavian ancestry and a member of the Sons of Norway Fellowship. Hair and Beards grow at the same rate for darker pigmented persons like Black men and Slavic Europeans if puberty was reached at the average age. If you start shaving b4 about 14 and you are brown/black haired/bearded you will need to shave every day to have no beard at all as in an office job. If you are a blue collar worker, you can skip the shave for personal reasons and still not have a beard by shaving every other morning. If you are Nordic, your beard probably started around your first armpit hair and wet dreams, which is as early as 12. Your beard will grow faster than your scalp hair as you are from a colder climate originaly and hair's earliest purpose is warmth
