I think it's time for an update. It has been 16 months since my last haircut, and it feels great! I wear it in a ponytail most time when in public but I prefer to have it loose at home. It's about 10 inches in length, still needs to be longer for 100% to be in a tail. As far as a goal, I think mid-back is about right, but that could change.
I wanted to have more pictures ready, to do a proper update, but I have just the one at this time. I took this pictue a couple of days ago. It was just after my shower and I did very little to my hair before taking the pic. I think it shows my length pretty well. Comments are always wecome.

Thanks Hugh, I've had no trims. Once I get to mid-back I may trim up a little, but not 'til then.

your hair is pretty long for only 16 months,did you start from an intermediate length?it seems a bit longer than 10 inches.it's lookin good btw! :)
yeah..my goal is mid-back too! :)i should be there at another 18 months!!take care! :))

I have to say I am VERY impressed with how fast your hair is growing, it looks a lot longer than 10 inches to me, you're rapidly approaching my length and I've been growing for more than twice as long! The hair looks great, looking forward to more pictures, I think you should be able to carry off a centre part very well. You mention your goal is mid back, perhaps you should consider even longer, I don't think you will have any problems getting there.

I am amazed that there always seems to be at least a few hairs that are unwilling to get into a tail unless really, really long. Keep growing!

It's funny, before I found this site I would not have taken even 1/10th of the pics of myself that I do now. When I first grew my hair long (late 90's), it was before the digital age and I didn't take any pics to compare. So I find it fun to dig up a earlier pic that I can get good idea how far I've come.

Same here, unfortunately I discovered the MLHH too late so I don't have any decent pictures of my progress up to 2 1/2 years, except one or 2 low quality ones when I was playing around with a webcam.
