Hi there, Dean.
I did read your post below. I just got in.
I must say that I am skeptical at best. Dr. Rassman seems to be skeptical as well, which for me is a clear indication that this product may not be the best choice for men that suffer from MPB.
I will let you in on a little secret. I have a laser bore sighter that I use to bore sight my rifles. I used this laser on a small area at the edge of my receding hairline, where the hair is minaturized. After three months of daily use I saw no difference. Keep in mind that this was definitely NOT a proper scientific experiment. I used the laser for 30 seconds per day.
I do understand that the laser that I have may be very different from the laser comb, nevertheless, I thought there might be some change for better, or, worse.
If the lasers are about the same and they really do help with MPB, I can assure you, the bore sighter is a whole lot cheaper!
Jeffrey.
it also does not make sense that a laser
would make hair grow seeing that lasers are used to
permently remove (as in kill) hair so how would
frying the hair make it grow.
Apparently, it is suppose to stimulate the follicle. Maybe, it does, but, it is an expensive little devil and I don't see enough evidence to suggest that it truly does what it is suppose to do.
Personally, I would have to see more proof before I slapped down several hundred dollars for this thing, however, I did pay about $160.00 for a Zeno zit zapper and I can honestly say that it was worth the money.
Jeffrey.
Hi Jeffrey,
Are you sure it was Dean who asked the question and not myself? I did ask the question in a specific post to you myself, and have checked Dr. Rassman's website. I was wondering if you have tried the device and I see you have, unsuccessfully. I WAS very skeptical myself!
David
(And I was wondering when you were palnning a hair update, pictures of back would be nice!)
Hi again Jeffrey,
I read your post again and see you did not try the actual device, but a rifle scope with laser, I stand corrected! But I do see you are as skeptical as I have been all along. (And I scrolled all the way down the list of posts on the board, I see nothing where Dean asked this question to you, but my question to you is still there, I think you are Dean with me!) (DavidN, Dean, they DO sound a bit alike, don't they!)

David:
I don't know why I said Dean. I'm sorry. I had just got in and I was very tired.
Anyway, I don't think the laser comb will do the trick. BTW, Dr. Rassman does some awesome work. If I ever were to have a transplant procedure I would want Rassman to do it. I have thought about having my receding hairline area filled in. It probably wouldn't take too many grafts, however, I am not too sure concerning miniaturization in my crown area.
Jeffrey.
Yeah! Take this!
Oh, sorry about the name mix up.
Actually, I had to "crop" out all the flab.
Jeffrey.
I admit defeat, as I am thoroughly impressed with your biceps brachii, brachialis and Brachioradialis.
Very nice and I accept your 1-upsmanship with grace (and a little jealousy I must admit with how well you pull off that hat!)
But i will have my revenge :) ...
Hey Jeffrey!
So is THAT what you mean when you asked me earlier about the propecia/avodart giving extra muscle as one of the side effects? If so, I LIKE it, as I'm all of 145 pounds soaking wet (and I'm between 5'9" and 5'10") and could SURE use some muscle on these bones of mine, lol!
