Hi. I'am a 16 year old boy who finally wants to grow super long hair. After a dumb buzz cut it is time I change the way my hair looks. My parentss said it was my decision if I wanted to and I'am. I think having long hair is realy cool. My girlfriend said I should grow it out really long to she also says that I will look very cool. I have very thick brown hair which I believe this is good. If there is anyone who could give me advice please give it to me that is why I came here. Thank you Josh
O.h. I also want to know how long it will take me to put it in a good pony tail.
You made the right choice . I am sure you will love it. It will take about 2 years. The wait is well worth it and please don't stop there.
I'm twice your age(32) and have had LH since I was 15ish. One thing, Trim the split ends. Another, Keep in mind what jobs are easier to get with LH now, during college and when you grad. college. The Hippies of the 60/70-s are now the bosses so it's easier, but think. I mean are you musical/artistic or do you have a leaning towards finance and business? The military offers a lot of opportunity and in the grand scheme, is only 4 years of SH and you'll have good training and an education to show for it.

Buzz Cuts sure are dumb, I agree ! But It'l take a long time to make a ponytail if you started witha buzz cut. The important thing is Be Patient and Dont Cut it. When its really long I think youll really like it! I have the longest hair of all guys in my high school and the second-longest is only a little longer than chin-length. But theres SO many buzz cuts!
