At least that's what i think, Mount Paddy responded to me earlier that i should try washing my hair because when hair is greasy it often starts to look thinner than usual.
And as i have naturally thin/fine hair + blonde growing from the roots it might sometimes give the illusion that it's thinning but that's not really the case.
I washed my hair and let it air dry, so i guess i don't have anything to worry about, at least not yet anyway:)
Although i'm still deciding if i wanna keep it short or grow it longer, but as i said before, i'm gonna wait atleast 1-2 months before doing anything, as it's a tough decision to make. I know that fine/thin hair often looks thicker when kept short so i think that is also one of the reasons why i'm having these thoughts.
I really have to stop worrying soo much about my hair or i'll probably go grazy someday, lol:)
Here are the new pics:)
Everything looks fine after all, Simon, great news that you don't have to worry about MPB after all! I'm also happy you're going to give it some good time and thought before deciding whether to cut.
Best of luck,
David
Goda nyheter det där mannen. Jäkligt otrevligt att tappa håret. :)
Angående att klippa håret. Jag tror det kommer blir grymt häftigt annars när det blir längre. Att ha blont hår som övergår till lite brunare i topparna.
Looks great! I'm glad you took notice to what I suggested because you and I have very similar hair types in that they are both thin and fine. I wash my hair on a daily basis, even with just a minimal shampoo to avoid that over-exposed crown :)
Oh and its Mount_HAPPY not Paddy hahaha.
aha, damn i must've mixed the names up or something, but know i know, hehe:)
Simon
Hi there.
First of all, please, don't think that I'm being mean. I just don't want any young man to experience MPB if he doesn't have to. Keep in mind that a man will usually loose 40 to 50% of his hair before he realizes that there is a problem. That's a lot of hair!
Perhaps your hair is not thinning. I did view the images and they look good.
I still recommend that any man, whom may suspect that his hair is thinning, see a dermatologist.
You have baby fine hair, much like mine. You mention that your hair has looked the same for many years, however, things will soon be changing and I do feel that very fine hair is more prone to MPB since the hair shaft diameter is already thin to begin with. You are very young at this time and if there is any MPB going on then it needs to be addressed quickly.
Well, your hair looks super and I know that you love it, or, you wouldn't be here. BTW, your natural colour would look great. Many colouring agents are quite harsh.
I do wish that you would think very carefully before you cut your hair. The colour in your hair will fade a lot sooner than it will take to regrow your hair. You might want to consider a good volumizing shampoo and conditioner like Nexus. I believe that would make a huge difference and it may help to bring you back to your natural colour.
Looking good there! Keep us posted.
Jeffrey.
Hi Simon,
it's clear to me from the pics that your hair isn't thinning.I'd have to admit though..it looks a bit on the frizzy side (to me,at least).I'm hoping it's not from the damage from coloring it.hair who's strands are thin (such as yours) are very susceptible to damage from colorings.I remember you mentioned yuo straightened your hair too.was your hair frizzy when it was it's natural color?(again,I could be wrong about it being frizzy, maybe it's just my idea).there's no need to go to short hair again though,IF it is damaged, then simply let the damage grow out.If you decide to cut it short again, that's ok,hair is hair,it will grow back( I hope you DO decide to grow it back IF you cut it),and if you cut, DONT EVER COLOR IT AGAIN!!you'll know bettter the second time around.wish you the best of luck!!

PS-I tried the volumizing conditioner..OMG!!it works wonders!!you should try it again (if you are not using it already) peace!! :))
Hi Jacob,
Sorry to interrupt in your reply to Simon, but I was wondering about the volumizing conditioner that you speak of? I could ALWAYS use some more volume in my hair, I just hate to see scalp showing, my hair seems that thin these days!
Dave
hi Dave,
I bought yesterday Pantene sheer volume, I used it once with great results!!!I'm gonna have to use it a few more times until I draw a definite conclusion about it!!(I also use a Pantene leave-in,which helps too!!)
Thanks Jacob!
As much as I have been adverse to Pantene products (with one exception, their clarifying shampoo, to remove cones buid up), perhaps I should give these products a try. I have generally been using products designed for thin/dry/damaged hair due to dryness and what I feel is damage with my hair lately.
