But its ok because this time I'm not gonna mess around. It hit around 60 degrees here today and the humidity just made my hair really puff/curly up making me look really stupid. Untill it grows some more and has enough weight not to 'fro up I'll have to use gel to slick it back. Most non long hairs say it looks better that way *shrugs*
Good deal. It is a really very comfortable way to wear hair. Wet back and buried in hair spray is the principle reason why I survived the awkward stage. I wore mine that way for a little over a year.

That's the way to go. The awkward stage will be so much easier that way. Keep it growing, and keep us posted.
My hair was so thick that when I was in one of the many awkward phases (your are in
an early phase) my hair actually turned heads.
It's a good idea for guys to read up on the awkward phase and to prepare
themselves for what may come their way.
Some guys have thinner hair that lies flat against their head.
They are the lucky ones as they seem to avoid the awkward phases
altogether!
