Thanks everyone, your support and replies really mean a lot.
And Jeffrey, no harm taken, I was trying to be funny!
& tommorow I start my new workout plan I've devised for myself as well as begin the first day of the last year of my degree.
Yeah!
Well Dean, just shows how much all the guys here think so highly of you and are happy with you being accepted.
BRAVO! An opportunity of a lifetime. Just fabulous!
Most likely you will be one of Lances greatest students.
Justin~
Hi there, Dean!
Hey, let me tell you something.
A few years ago I was washing the truck that I drive and I was standing on the top of the cab. That is pretty high in the air. Well, the top was soapy and very slick and I slipped off the top and smacked the concrete below right on my butt! The pain was inconceiveable and I didn't even move for at least 30 minutes. I see pro wrestlers do this kinda stuff on a regular basis and I have no idea how they survive it. Keep in mind that I'm fairly tough myself, but that kind of stuff would kill me. I certainly respect anyone that wants to do this for a living. You have actually been an inspiration to me. I have always been blessed with unusual strength and I suppose that I have taken that for granted, but, as I get older I see that was a gift from God and I think that I will make the best of it and start developing it as much as I can (at my age). I am well over 40 and I am still very stong. I really don't see that too often.
I do wish you the best and please, be careful, or, as careful as possible.
P.S.(PIC) You better work hard, because you don't want an old guy to catch up with you!:):):)
Jeffrey.
Hi again Jeffrey,
Looking GREAT there, Dude! I have to say I am rather jealous of you and Dean right now. It would be cool to see the two of you get together for a wrestling match or something, the outcome would be MOST fascinating! Congratulations again, and all the best in your future bodybuilding plans. (And the hair and beard are looking great, hair looks nice and thick, you would never know you have any MPB from the picture, even the front hairline looks good, which you have complained about in the past)
David
Wrestling match? Oooooh No. I have never been competative in athletics. I barely know the difference between a touch down and a home run. However, when I was much younger I did like weight lifting. Probably because I'm a bit of a loner.
Basically I just want to start taking better care of myself.
Well, last night a guy told me something that really surprised me. He told me that he washes hi hair in.....Well, it's a different subject so I better post above. I couldn't belive it.
Jeffrey.
After reading your post and this picture I'm the one impressed!
Thanks for your complimentary words as well...believe me I know what I'm getting into with this professional wrestling deal and I am pretty sure i'll be alright :) That's another reason why I'm going to Lance, I respect him very much.
As for you catching up to me...in all honesty if you can increase your life on this earth and look damn good in the process, I say go for it, age is no barrier and as you already pointed out, the condition you are in is FAR beyond most men of comparable age to begin with. So you just gotta go for it! & if you 'beat' me in the process, well then I'll be very happy for you.
That said...bring it on!
Hi Dean,
I really DO wish you all the best when you get to Wrestling Academy in Calgary and would certainly love to meet you someday. (I also replied to your post below.) I live in eastern Canada, and actually used to live in Calgary for a few years during my childhood. As you can see from my posts below ( I don't know if you saw them), I am very keen on meeting as many of the guys from the MLHH as possinble, I plan to take a dream trip in two years specifically to meet people from the MLHH. I sure that when you come to Canada, you will be flying directly to Calgary, but if you ever thought about stopping in Nova Scotia for a visit, I would be very happy to meet you and show you around, it would be my pleasure.
All the best, and best of luck in your future studies,
David
Yes of course I saw your posts :)
I am not sure of my schedule next year, because when i will return to sydney will be based on when my graduation is (anywhere between april and june), so I'll let you know later on, what my plans are.
But thanks in any case!
Perhaps we shall meet next year, but I want to see your hair at least 6 inches longer than it is now if we do :-)
Oh, yes, Dean, I'm working on that one for sure, belt length sometime down the road is what I REALLY want, lol!
All the best,
David
