Firstly, thanks DavidN for asking about me. I've been rather busy lately and my mind has been occupied with something (or someone) other than hair. It's not long before my mind comes back to hair though. Thanks to all who have offered praise in the past. Comments, while always welcome, are certainly not expected.
A halftail braid up a little higher than I usually have it.
This was helped by my initial use of a clip in this style, again higher up that I've worn before.
A braid made by starting the left strand under the middle strand instead of over it. I find it's harder to get the braid to look right doing it this way but when I do, I like it better.
Indoors
The wind caught my hair in such a way that it almost looks like I had it in curlers (which of course I didn't, see the pic above).
Yesterday's hiking location..
Wow! Simply fantastic.
Jeffrey.
OK, now I've gotta add "half braid" to the list of things I've gotta try out on my hair once It's a couple inches longer. Right now I can barely get a normal braid.
Maybe that comes with practice, though.
Jason...great hair pictures as usual...the ends of your hair look even...did you have a recent trim? Have you measured the length of your hair?...looks like the length is about average or above for the past year.
Thanks. No trim. I just had detangled and brushed my hair through a bit more in these pics than in other ones. I had my hair measured about a month ago and it's 25 inches using the measurement from the front hairline so hopefully it's about 25.5 now.
Awesome hair as always, I like the half-tail braid style picture, it looks really cool. Keep it growing!

I´ve said it before and I say it again, awesome hair.
Hi Jason,
It's great to have you back, hope everything is going well. The hair, as always, is truly outstanding in every way, it's getting some serious length, you'll be at belt length before you know it. (My best estimate now is mid 2009) The outdoor shots and beautiful countryside always display your hair at its best. I love the location you hiked to, it looks like a frozen body of water in the background. I would love to be able to do outdoor shots in the countryside and get away from the "mug shots" that I have been using in my updates, unfortunately I live in a condo in the middle of Halifax.
All the best,
David
(By the way, I plan a road trip across the states in the spring of 2009 after I retire. I plan to travel down the East Coast to around Georgia, across to California, and up to British Columbia then across Canada back home to Nova Scotia. I plan to meet as many guys from the hyperboard as possible on the trip and would like to include you as one of the guys to meet.)
Hi David,
Thanks for the compliments. That would be awesome if you could stop by and see me on your road trip. I'm about 20 miles north of Boston and right near major highways.
Jason
Thanks Jason! I'll add you to the list, it would be great to see some of that beautiful countryside, so much like Nova Scotia in a way.
David
That clip really works for you, Jason. And, of course, the braid looks great! =)

"The wind caught my hair in such a way that it almost looks like I had it in curlers (which of course I didn't, see the pic above)."
Of course you didn't? Would there be anything wrong if you had rolled your hair to achieve some curl?
If we can have long hair, why can't we also use tools to style it?
I agree with Mick's comments, Jason. Hope you'll take advantage of your awesome hair and length to be creative and explore some different styles. With your beard and appearance, you can carry off lots variations and style ideas. There are lots of different ways to show off your hair, and now you have the mane to work with, for sure. Ever get motivated to want to wear it a different way?
Hair looks great, as always!
Thanks.
Ever get motivated to want to wear it a different way?
This comment has me puzzled. I've in the last couple of months shown many styles: ponytail, halftail, halftail braided, loose, clipped high, clipped lower, full braid, french braid and multiple ponytail ties down the length. Those are nine different looks right there!
Mea culpa...you're right! Now that I think back on it, you've showed lots of different styles! Hope you'll continue, as they all look great!
Outstanding!!!
You wear the braid well - Great looking pictures.

Adds interest to your hair. Nice shots!
Thanks for sharing!
I wish I could do a halftail... my hair density is so low that a halftail would be pencil thin and would catch on any other hair. I think those hair clip might be a good idea for half tails. Im not sure when I can braid my hair because its still too unstable for that (maybe another year?)
Hey Jason
As always, your long hair is of the greatest inspiration to all. And your photos just outstanding!
Thanks so much with sharing all with us.

These pictures are awesome! You always do such a good job. I am not sure what skill is more developed with you, Jason: photography or braiding.
Excellent work on each.
Thanks for sharing,

The word awesome has been used several times before, but it's the first word that jumped into my head. Simply AWESOME!! Great photos also!
Keep on growin'

wowza!!!!!!your hair rocks beyond words.I like the side pic a lot.I must say though..the lower-style half-tail looks better on you.
also,I noticed that your hair is only about 2 inches shorter when braided.I thought braids were a bit more length-consuming than that.that gives me hopes that I'll be able to achieve a decent braid at mid-back length hair.thanks for posting the photos!take care!!

As always inspirational hair, you were born to have long hair, it just can't be faulted.
Thanks for sharing your pics with us, they are always a great motivator to keep growing.
