I have straight blond/white hair and it's down to the small of my back, it's layered on top and just the back is long, I am in school and the kids keep taunting me about it saying that I look like a girl. I personaly like it this way but I can't hide it in any way. I want to hide because the kids at my school try to set it on fire! What should I do?
Killer, sounds like you need to sit in the back row! As long as you stay away from hair spray, the hair shouldn't be very flammable however. To play it safe, carry a fire extinguisher or apply a fire retardant available at fabric stores.

I dunno if you are talking about grade/high school or a university, but if the "kids" are trying to set your hair on fire, time to notify the school administration about what's going on. Doesn't really matter what age group we are talking about here, "kids" or even "adults", it's still unacceptable. heh, if it's the university setting, then it sounds like to me these fellow classmates need to grow up a bit and take a chill pill. If it's the grade/high school setting, then I am sure the school administration will come through for you. I am 21, and went through it all in school also.
If the school can't help you out.....then it might be time for a more serious approach.

If you're old enough to grow facial hair, DO IT. It's an instant
solution to the "looks like a girl" problem. Long hair alone
does not make one look effeminate, so cutting it is not the
solution. Androgynous looking men, with or without long hair, find
GROWING FACIAL HAIR to be a solution that very much WORKS. If the
school is accustomed to hassling guys with facial hair, explain
that people are misidentifying your gender, and this is a major
social DISABILITY, and you expect to not be hassled about your
facial hair as an ACCOMMODATION.

Society has always preyed on those who dared to be different. Experssing yourself in ways which are contrary to the 'accepted' norm
always draws criticism from some. Personally, I think it is jealousy. What ever you do, don't submit and cut your hair!!
