Hello all. I am starting to grow my hair out, and although I understand this will be a long undertaking there is one thing I am worried about. The back of my hair (above my neck, not on top) grows very fast. So fast, in fact, that if I let it grow along with the hair on the top of my head I will have a mullett rather quickly. Nothing against mulletts, I just don't want one is all. So, I have the sides and back cut shorter than the top. My plan is to grow the top out and keep trimming the sides and back. Eventually, I will grow the sides and back out after the top is long enough to put in a pony tail.
Has anyone experienced this issue? If so, or even if not, any advice?
