I am watching a really interesting TV show on the History Channel about the early years of Western Europe after the fall of the Roman Empire. Lots of longhair barbarians are portrayed. Its weird to see so many longhaired men on TV but quite enjoyable :) If you see a TV show listed called Barbarians, give it a try, its educational and full of hair lol
They are pretty interesting. So far I've seen the one about the vandals and the vikings.
You just got me googling around for Barbarian stuff, since there's a pretty good chance my father's side has some "Barbarian", which is a catch-all that includes a lot of groups. I tried to find out what would be the most likely group to have inhabited the part of Poland where they emigrated from, and it turns out it might have actually been Celts, which we usually think of as Irish, right? So, we might actually have the same Barbarian roots. Of course, we're all brothers. Now, where's my battle-axe... :)
Same thing with the movie lord of the rings. Everybody has long hair! It´s great to watch. :)
